Hijri First Privacy Policy Open the app

Terms of Use

Effective: 26 Muharram 1448 · 11 July 2026

These terms are short because the deal is simple: Hijri First is a calendar that runs on your device. Using the app or the website means you accept them.

The service

Hijri First is currently in beta and provided as-is, without warranties. It is free during the beta; if that changes, we'll say so plainly and in advance. No account is required — the calendar works fully without one, and always will.

Religious dates & prayer times

Hijri dates, provisional month boundaries, and prayer times are computed from the authority, method, and location you choose. They may differ from your local community's announcements. For acts of worship — fasting, Eid, prayer — always follow your local authority. Hijri First is a planning tool, not a religious verdict.

Your content

Your events and tasks are yours. They live on your device (see the Privacy Policy), and you can export them as .ics at any time. We claim no rights over your content. You're responsible for what you put in share links, since the link itself carries the event details.

Acceptable use

Don't abuse the service: no attempts to disrupt it, scrape other people's shared events, or use share links to distribute unlawful content. Google Calendar integration is additionally governed by Google's own terms.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the app — including missed events, incorrect dates, or data loss on your device. Keep exports of anything important.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app with a new effective date. Continuing to use Hijri First after that means you accept the updated terms.
